Developed the Speed of Sound Voice Typing App for Linux, delivering a new end-to-end voice transcription workflow within the k2-fsa/sherpa-onnx repository. The project integrated Sherpa ONNX automatic speech recognition models for real-time transcription and added a large language model-based polishing step to enhance text accuracy. Focused on Linux application development and voice recognition, the solution streamlines data entry and documentation by reducing manual proofreading. All work was documented in Markdown, with the feature packaged for quality assurance and future updates. The month’s efforts centered on feature delivery and integration, with no major bug fixes required during this period.
