During a two-month period, Lizongying contributed to the lizongying/homebrew-cask repository by delivering targeted improvements to Homebrew Cask package management using Ruby. In April, Lizongying upgraded the Microsoft Edge cask from a PKG to a DMG installer, updating the download URL, uninstall logic, and livecheck regex to support the new format, which enhanced installation reliability and maintainability. In May, Lizongying added Void Editor CLI support by introducing a new binary target and architecture-specific SHA256 checksums, enabling streamlined terminal workflows for macOS users. The work demonstrated focused engineering depth in Homebrew, Ruby, and cross-architecture package management.
