Over three months, Alejandro developed and enhanced the refunds workflow for the 02-Solutions/Monarca_Frontend repository, delivering a robust, data-driven UI for managing refunds, voucher submissions, and approvals. He architected reusable React components with TypeScript, implemented dynamic tables with pagination, and aligned frontend forms with backend data models to streamline user experience and reduce errors. Alejandro strengthened the project’s maintainability by refactoring code, improving validation, and introducing end-to-end Cypress tests for critical flows. His work integrated API and backend dependencies, expanded test coverage, and stabilized CI/CD pipelines using JavaScript, TypeScript, and YAML, resulting in a scalable, testable frontend foundation.

June 2025: Strengthened test automation, environment alignment, and data stability for 02-Solutions/Monarca_Frontend to enable faster, safer releases. Key deliveries include end-to-end tests for creating a request and travel history (covering spend registration as SOI, travel history as requester, and voucher uploads), direct alignment with ongoing backend development (cloned backend from develop and switching to develop branch before dependency install), and Cypress test infrastructure enhancements for branch visibility, coverage reporting, and diagnostic screenshots. Robustness improvements for create request tests, form enhancements (tax indicator), and expanded end-to-end scenarios (travel agent, refunds as SOI) stabilized CI and expanded coverage. Added YAML/test data fixes to address configuration gaps and ensure repeatable runs.
