Worked on security hardening for the OpenStack Cloud Controller Manager Helm chart in the kubernetes/cloud-provider-openstack repository, focusing on improving container-level protections. Implemented a securityContext within the Helm chart using YAML, enhancing runtime security and aligning with Kubernetes best practices. Updated the chart version to 2.34.2 to maintain clear release traceability and ensure compliance with release standards. The work centered on container security and Helm chart management, with no major bugs addressed during this period. All contributions were clearly documented, reflecting a methodical approach to release hygiene and security improvements within the scope of Kubernetes and containerized environments.
