In December 2025, Zhang Yingwei developed the Miline Dynamic Scaling Agent for the XiaoMi/mone repository, focusing on enabling dynamic scaling of backend resources in response to traffic demands. Using Java, REST API, and Spring, Zhang implemented configuration changes, interface parameter adjustments, and performance optimizations to support reliable scaling up, while temporarily disabling scaling down to ensure rollout stability. The agent automates resource management, reducing manual intervention and improving system responsiveness under load. This initial feature, co-authored with another developer, established a foundation for future autonomous elasticity, reflecting thoughtful engineering depth and careful attention to operational safety and maintainability.
