Developed and delivered a discussion-first issue management and community engagement enhancement for the projectdiscovery/katana repository, focusing on improving the efficiency of issue triage and fostering greater contributor participation. Leveraged Go to implement the new workflow, which prioritizes open discussion before formal issue escalation, resulting in faster triage and reduced support overhead. Addressed a critical runtime nil pointer dereference during the initial rollout, stabilizing the feature and preventing production panics. Demonstrated proficiency in GitHub Actions, code review, and CI/CD hygiene throughout the process. The work emphasized robust issue management design and contributed to a more resilient and collaborative open-source workflow.
