During August 2025, Binary01 focused on modernizing and maintaining the PMNDRS monorepo tooling by upgrading the pnpm package manager to version 10.15.0 across the jotai, zustand, and valtio repositories. This work involved careful dependency management and DevOps practices to ensure backward-compatible lockfile updates, maintaining stability without altering dependency resolution. By standardizing package management tooling, Binary01 improved build performance, enhanced security, and reduced CI variability, which streamlined onboarding and future maintenance. The updates, implemented using JavaScript and pnpm, delivered tangible business value by keeping the development environment current and reliable, though the changes were not user-facing or feature-driven.
