During the month, Demid enhanced governance and access control across several Open edX repositories, focusing on release risk management and user experience. In openedx/edx-platform, Demid introduced configurable lease expiration for peer and staff submissions, updating both the codebase and documentation to support new operational requirements. For openedx/edx-enterprise, Demid enabled pull request-based CI checks using GitHub Actions and YAML, improving code quality gates before merging. In openedx/frontend-app-learning, Demid refined frontend access by hiding the Studio button from unauthorized users, updating React components and associated tests. The work demonstrated depth in CI/CD, configuration management, and frontend development using JavaScript.
