Hansol Lee upgraded core dependencies in the piplabs/story repository, focusing on replacing private fork references of the Cosmos SDK and Evidence package with their latest public stable versions. This work centered on Go and leveraged skills in dependency management and Go Modules to streamline the project’s upgrade path. By aligning with community-supported versions, Hansol improved long-term maintainability and ecosystem compatibility, reducing technical debt and enhancing build and test stability. The changes established clear commit traceability for future updates, laying a foundation for faster feature delivery. No major bugs were addressed, as the month’s efforts prioritized stability and maintainability improvements.
