Worked on the mastodon/joinmastodon repository to enhance app cataloging and branding for Android applications. Delivered a feature that added the Fread Android app to the catalog, integrating its icon and Google Play Store link to improve app discovery and onboarding. Focused on catalog modeling, asset integration, and ensuring precise commit traceability using TypeScript. Later, updated the Fread feature’s logo to align with brand guidelines, refining visual branding and UI consistency without altering application behavior. Emphasized graphic design and UI/UX design skills to prepare assets and changelogs, supporting a smooth rollout and maintaining a design-focused, low-risk development approach throughout.
