During January 2026, contributed to the mastodon/joinmastodon repository by integrating the Mastui Desktop Client into the desktop client ecosystem. This work involved registering the Mastui TUI Mastodon client with comprehensive metadata, including release date, icon, and source URL, and adding a dedicated branding logo asset. Using React, TypeScript, and graphic design skills, the integration enhanced end-user discoverability and streamlined onboarding, aligning with broader product strategy to support desktop clients. The changes established a foundation for future branding and UI improvements, focusing on maintainable front end development practices and clear asset management without introducing bug fixes during the period.
