Worked on the alloy-rs/alloy repository to enhance the reliability of Flashbots payload signing by addressing a bug in the canonical encoding of recovery bytes. Focused on backend development using Rust, the work involved normalizing signature recovery bytes to ensure correct encoding, which improved interoperability with Flashbots systems. Updated and expanded the test suite to cover edge cases in signature encoding, ensuring that both new and existing functionality remained robust. All changes were integrated into the signing and encoding modules, with continuous integration checks verifying correctness. The contribution centered on backend systems, emphasizing code quality and standards compliance in Rust.
