Worked on the kubernetes-sigs/kueue repository to improve the stability and reliability of test suites by addressing flaky feature gate handling. Focused on refactoring test setups in Go to utilize SetFeatureGateDuringTest for features such as DynamicResourceAllocation, AdmissionFairSharing, and TASBalancedPlacement, which reduced intermittent test failures and streamlined configuration. Removed unused feature gate setups to simplify test scaffolding and decrease maintenance overhead. These changes aligned with broader project goals and contributed to more stable continuous integration runs. The work demonstrated a strong emphasis on testing best practices and effective use of Go and Kubernetes, resulting in more maintainable and reliable code.
