Worked on enhancing the Dynatrace/dynatrace-operator by improving the reliability of webhook platform detection. Focused on backend development using Go, the work centered around strengthening error handling and introducing robust logging to increase observability of webhook failures. By centralizing error handling logic and implementing structured logs with actionable error messages, the changes reduced the risk of platform-detection outages and made triage more efficient. The improvements also included fallback mechanisms to ensure webhook integrations remained stable across different platforms. This targeted feature laid the foundation for more platform-agnostic webhook processing, emphasizing maintainability and resilience in the operator’s core workflow.
