During December 2025, 1gtm enhanced the appscode-cloud/installer repository by implementing CI compatibility testing for Kubernetes 1.35. They updated the CI/CD configuration and expanded the test matrix using YAML to ensure the installer could be validated automatically against the latest Kubernetes release. This work focused on DevOps best practices, emphasizing automated test validation and proper commit sign-off. By enabling early detection of compatibility issues, 1gtm’s changes reduced upgrade risks and accelerated validation for customers adopting Kubernetes 1.35. The depth of the work lay in integrating Kubernetes version matrix testing into the CI pipeline, improving deployment safety and reliability.
