H M Sayem developed and integrated an enterprise-grade OpenTelemetry observability stack for Kubernetes-native applications, focusing on the appscode-cloud/ui-wizards and appscode-cloud/installer repositories. He introduced the appscode-otel-stack resource and configured HelmRelease to enable Helm-managed deployment, leveraging Go and YAML for infrastructure as code. His work defined monitoring components, images, storage, and cross-repository dependencies, establishing a unified observability layer with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry collectors. By aligning dependencies on kubedb, monitoring-operator, and cert-manager, Sayem enabled centralized tracing, metrics, and dashboards, reducing operator overhead and supporting scalable, maintainable observability across the platform. The work demonstrated strong DevOps and Kubernetes expertise.
