Developed theme-aware color design tokens for the rating UI within the SonarSource/echoes-react repository, focusing on layer 3 indicators across both dark and light themes. The work included support for default and hover states, ensuring visual consistency and improved accessibility in the ratings interface. Leveraging CSS and JSON, the developer integrated these tokens into the existing React UI components, establishing a token-driven theming workflow that streamlines future expansions and reduces theming effort. The implementation was linked to ECHOES-1241 for traceability and underwent cross-theme quality assurance, ultimately strengthening the design system and enhancing the user experience without introducing new bugs.
