Artem enhanced the caption field in the telegramdesktop/tdesktop repository by implementing an expandable quote button, addressing a key user experience gap in caption composition and quoting workflows. Using CSS and front end development skills, Artem focused on UI design to improve interaction and reduce friction for users composing captions in Telegram Desktop. The solution involved a targeted styling update that made the quote button both visible and functional, aligning with product goals and enabling easier future maintenance. This work demonstrated a focused, single-feature patch with a clear, traceable commit, reflecting depth in UI/UX problem-solving within a Qt-based desktop application.
