Worked on the telegramdesktop/tdesktop repository, focusing on a targeted user interface correction within the Passport panel. Addressed a mislabeling issue by updating the country selection field from Citizenship to Residence Country, ensuring the UI accurately represents the underlying data model. This adjustment improved data accuracy and reduced potential confusion for users, while also supporting more reliable analytics. The solution was implemented in C++ with attention to internationalization and UI development best practices. Delivered the fix through a single, well-documented commit, maintaining main branch stability and demonstrating a disciplined approach to incremental improvements without introducing feature regressions or instability.
