Developed and delivered support for F13 through F24 function keys in the Linux keyboard input handling of the LizardByte/Sunshine repository, enabling applications to recognize and utilize these additional keys for expanded user interaction. This work involved low-level C++ development focused on Linux keycode mappings and keyboard input processing, ensuring accurate translation of hardware signals into software events. By extending the existing input handling infrastructure, the implementation increased hardware compatibility and laid the groundwork for future automation and accessibility features. The approach emphasized commit-driven development and cross-repository collaboration, demonstrating proficiency in Linux development and keyboard input handling within a production environment.
