Worked on the stripe/LibreChat repository to enhance streaming behavior for OpenAI and Azure OpenAI integrations, focusing on backend development and API integration using JavaScript. Delivered a targeted refactor to the OpenAI client, introducing a model-type determination method for handling the stream parameter with O1 models. This approach improved code clarity and maintainability by consolidating model-type checks and reducing unnecessary branching. Additionally, corrected the stream parameter logic for Azure OpenAI O1 models, increasing the reliability of streaming responses. All changes were localized to the OpenAI client, ensuring safer rollouts and providing a clear audit trail for future development and extensions.
