Worked on the stripe/LibreChat repository to address a UI inconsistency related to file attachment controls. Focused on refining the AttachFileChat component so that its behavior accurately reflected the configuration specified in librechat.yaml, particularly when file uploads were disabled. Used React and TypeScript to remove unnecessary conditional logic, ensuring the paper clip icon no longer appeared when uploads were not permitted. This targeted bug fix improved the alignment between frontend and backend settings, reduced user confusion, and decreased support requests. Demonstrated attention to configuration-driven UI patterns and careful code refactoring to enhance the overall user experience and maintain safer UI states.
