During June 2025, Aveleyal expanded item lore for three cigarette brands in the cmss13-devs/cmss13 repository, focusing on enhancing narrative immersion and role-playing opportunities. Leveraging the DM language and skills in content creation and lore writing, Aveleyal implemented extended lore through the desc_lore field within the existing item description workflow. This approach maintained full compatibility with the current data model, requiring no schema changes and minimizing technical risk. The work deepened the storytelling potential of in-game items, providing a foundation for future lore-driven features while ensuring seamless integration with the established content pipeline and supporting ongoing game development efforts.
