Worked on stabilizing the KratosMultiphysics/Kratos repository following a directory restructuring, focusing on restoring build integrity for droplet dynamics simulations. Addressed a critical include-path issue in the two_fluid_navier_stokes_data components by updating include directives within C++ source and header files, ensuring that the application could correctly locate and utilize necessary data structures. Verified successful compilation across affected modules to prevent potential runtime or import errors. This work improved the maintainability and resilience of the codebase to future refactors. Demonstrated skills in C++ and software architecture, with an emphasis on codebase organization and robust build processes during ongoing development.
March 2025: Stabilized build after directory restructuring and delivered a targeted include-path fix to enable droplet dynamics work in Kratos. The change ensures two_fluid_navier_stokes_data components compile and access required data structures, reducing build risk and enabling continued development of droplet dynamics simulations.
