Worked on the timescale/tiger-cli repository to enhance log observability and output efficiency for backend systems. Focused on Go-based API and backend development, delivering two features that improved log readability and reduced processing bottlenecks. Implemented structured log colorization by severity, which prevents false positives and makes logs easier to interpret for developers and administrators. Developed efficient terminal log formatting that outputs pre-formatted strings with local timestamps, optimizing resource usage and reducing token consumption in the MCP service. These changes resulted in a more maintainable log formatting routine and a better developer experience, with no major bugs addressed during the period.
