During April 2025, contributed targeted localization enhancements to minetest/minetest and organicmaps/website, focusing on improving the Russian-speaking user experience. Leveraging skills in internationalization and localization, updated Russian UI translations in minetest/minetest, including adjustments for Quicktune values and the profiler display toggle, while also refining Russian phrases for organicmaps/website to increase translation accuracy and clarity. Utilized PO files and a Weblate-based workflow to ensure consistency and maintainability across both repositories, updating translator metadata to reflect current contributors. Although no bugs were reported or fixed, the work reduced localization friction and improved onboarding for Russian users across these projects.
