Suda focused on enhancing the stability and reliability of Docker image builds for the moby/buildkit repository during the month. Addressing instability introduced by a recent runc upgrade, Suda reverted the Dockerfile’s runc binary from version 1.2.1 to 1.1.15, restoring a stable baseline and preventing regressions in both build and runtime environments. This work involved careful validation across CI pipelines and deployment runtimes, ensuring compatibility with existing workflows. Utilizing skills in containerization and DevOps, and working directly with Dockerfile syntax, Suda prioritized baseline integrity and traceability, documenting changes for auditability and maintaining a reliable foundation for future development.
