Worked on enhancing the aidenybai/react-scan browser extension by delivering a targeted reliability fix for React root detection. Addressed a longstanding issue where the extension struggled to accurately identify root elements in both legacy and container-based React applications, leading to improved scanning accuracy and stability in production environments. The solution involved a single, focused commit in TypeScript, leveraging expertise in frontend development, JavaScript, and React. Emphasized end-to-end testing and regression prevention to ensure robust results. This work reduced false negatives, streamlined manual triage, and increased developer trust in scan results, ultimately supporting more efficient troubleshooting for real-world applications.
