Worked on the courselab/coral repository to deliver a focused user experience improvement for a Python-based game. Addressed onboarding clarity by updating the pre-game prompt to explicitly instruct players to "Press any key to start," reducing confusion before gameplay begins. The change was implemented as a single, well-documented commit, ensuring traceability and minimizing risk to existing game mechanics or performance. Leveraged skills in game development and user interface design to isolate the update to UX copy, with no impact on core logic. This approach supported product goals to enhance first-time user experience and encourage higher player engagement without introducing downtime.
