Amir Ameri contributed to the gristlabs/grist-core repository by delivering a Persian localization update for the Grist Client, focusing on expanding accessibility for Persian-speaking users. He integrated translations using Weblate, establishing an initial translation progress of 2.8 percent and setting up a workflow to support future multilingual enhancements. Amir utilized INI files and applied internationalization best practices to ensure the translation process was maintainable and traceable. Although the work was scoped to a single feature over one month, it laid the technical foundation for broader language support and improved the project’s readiness for further localization efforts in subsequent development cycles.
