During the month, contributed to the zendesk/maxwell repository by implementing a CodeQL Security Analysis Workflow aimed at automating security checks within the development process. This work involved integrating CodeQL into the existing CI/CD pipeline using YAML and Shell scripting, enabling continuous security validation on both pull requests and the main branch. By embedding security analysis directly into the developer workflow, the changes improved code quality and reduced the risk of vulnerabilities. The approach demonstrated practical skills in Continuous Integration, DevOps, and Java development, focusing on enhancing the project’s security posture through automated tooling rather than manual review processes.
