Worked on the OWASP/Nest repository to enhance developer onboarding and setup documentation, focusing on clarifying WSL and Docker requirements for new contributors. Addressed common pain points for Windows users by expanding setup guidance and improving documentation formatting using Markdown, which reduced environment-related issues and streamlined the onboarding process. The update provided clearer, cross-platform instructions, helping new contributors reach their first commit more quickly while lowering support overhead for maintainers. This work demonstrated attention to developer experience and documentation discipline, ensuring that contributors could navigate setup steps efficiently and with fewer errors, ultimately supporting a smoother open source contribution process.
