Developed a multi-instance database log purging enhancement for the incubateur-ademe/quefairedemesobjets repository, focusing on improving maintenance reliability and observability. Extended an existing Shell script to iterate over both webapp and warehouse database instances, providing detailed per-instance feedback during purge operations. This approach supported better data retention practices and reduced manual intervention by automating log cleanup across multiple environments. Leveraging skills in database management, DevOps, and scripting, the work improved storage hygiene and operational transparency. The enhancement enabled clearer reporting for each database instance, ensuring that maintenance tasks could be monitored and audited more effectively within the project’s infrastructure.
