Worked on the workadventure/workadventure repository to enhance Japanese localization for the DO_NOT_DISTURB status label, focusing on improving clarity for Japanese-speaking users. Addressed ambiguity in the original translation by updating the label from “邪魔しないで” to “応答不可,” ensuring the status more accurately reflected user intent without altering underlying functionality. Applied targeted i18n validation and maintained clean commit practices throughout the process. Utilized TypeScript and leveraged skills in localization and translation to deliver a precise, low-risk feature update. The work demonstrated attention to user experience and linguistic accuracy, contributing to the overall quality of the platform’s internationalization efforts.
