Worked on the HeyPuter/puter repository to enhance localization quality by focusing on German language improvements. Addressed inconsistencies in German translations throughout the application, standardizing phrasing and formatting to provide a more cohesive user experience for German-speaking users. Utilized JavaScript and i18n best practices to deliver a comprehensive translation cleanup, ensuring accurate string representation and maintainable localization workflows. The approach emphasized end-to-end traceability with commit-level documentation, supporting future updates and easier onboarding for additional languages. This work strengthened the overall localization infrastructure, making it more robust and adaptable while directly improving the usability of the app for German users.
