Worked on UniversalMediaServer/UniversalMediaServer to enhance project documentation, focusing on improving contributor onboarding and clarifying licensing. Developed and integrated a new Contributing Guide and a GPL License section directly into the README.md using Markdown, outlining the recommended workflow for external developers, including forking, branching, and submitting pull requests. This documentation work aimed to reduce onboarding time and integration friction for new contributors while ensuring open source compliance and transparency. No bugs were addressed during this period, as the primary emphasis was on documentation skills and repository governance, laying a foundation for more efficient future feature development and streamlined collaboration.
