During June 2025, E23118 enhanced the student profile functionality in the cepdnaclk/people.ce.pdn.ac.lk repository by introducing additional user profile fields, including preferred short name, preferred long name, honorific, personal email, GitHub URL, and interests. The work focused on front-end development using HTML, updating the relevant templates to support richer data capture and improved personalization. By maintaining a clear and auditable patch scope, E23118 ensured that the changes were straightforward to maintain and review. This update addressed the need for more complete and customizable user data, supporting targeted communications and analytics without introducing unnecessary complexity or technical debt.
