Developed and delivered a Detective Code Highlighting Extension for Reveal.js within the slowkow/quarto-web repository, focusing on enhancing code snippet readability in presentations. The work introduced a new configuration entry, allowing users to enable extended code highlighting capabilities through YAML-driven settings. The implementation followed Quarto extension patterns and integrated seamlessly with Reveal.js, leveraging JavaScript for front-end extension development. Documentation was updated to guide users on configuration and usage, supporting consistent code visualization across presentation decks. Throughout the project, Git-based collaboration and versioning practices were maintained, emphasizing configuration management and clear documentation to improve presentation workflows and reduce manual formatting efforts.
