Worked on the stremio-web repository to deliver a focused set of UI improvements for the subtitles menu, enhancing both readability and localization readiness. The main feature involved reordering the display of origin and label, implementing a fallback mechanism for URL checks, and translating origin text to support non-English users. Addressed long-label overflow issues by refining how track origins are rendered, which improved the robustness and accessibility of subtitles-related controls. The work was carried out using React and LESS, with an emphasis on UI/UX design principles to reduce edge-case rendering issues and prepare the interface for broader internationalization efforts.
