Worked on a focused user interface refactor in the stremio/stremio-web repository, specifically enhancing the subtitle track labels within the SubtitlesMenu component. The approach centered on simplifying and clarifying the rendering logic in SubtitlesMenu.js, making the codebase more maintainable and easier to extend for future features. Using React and JavaScript, the update improved the readability of subtitle labels in the player UI, directly supporting a more robust and user-friendly experience. This work did not involve bug fixes but delivered a single, well-scoped feature that streamlines future development and supports ongoing improvements in front end development practices.
