Worked on expanding hardware compatibility for the ArduPilot/ardupilot repository by adding support for a new board type within the bootloader configuration. Focused on embedded systems and hardware definition, the contribution involved defining the AP_HW_HWH7 board with a unique identifier, thereby extending the platform’s reach to newer device families. This update enables customers to integrate and deploy ArduPilot on additional hardware with greater ease and speed. The work was implemented using plaintext configuration files, emphasizing careful attention to hardware abstraction and maintainability. No bug fixes were recorded during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development and hardware onboarding efficiency.
