Worked on deployment automation for the opencrvs/opencrvs-farajaland repository, focusing on improving release reliability and efficiency. Developed and delivered a feature that accelerates deployments by enabling parallel Docker image pulls, allowing multiple images to be downloaded concurrently and reducing overall deployment duration. This enhancement was implemented through modifications to the deployment script using Shell scripting, leveraging DevOps and infrastructure management skills. No major bugs were reported during this period, and ongoing efforts included refining automation processes and preparing deployment duration metrics. The work contributed to faster, more reliable release cycles and streamlined the deployment workflow for the project’s infrastructure.
