Developed and integrated the Halcyon SDK for Matrix Bots within the matrix-org/matrix.org repository, delivering a new Python library to expand bot development capabilities in the Matrix ecosystem. The work involved updating the SDK catalog by modifying sdks.toml and standardizing SDK naming conventions to improve discoverability and onboarding for developers. Leveraging skills in Python, bot development, and SDK management, the implementation was tracked through collaborative, signed-off commits. Although no bugs were addressed during this period, the contribution established a standardized foundation for future bot-related features, supporting collaborative workflows and adherence to contribution guidelines while enhancing the SDK infrastructure for Matrix bots.
