During April 2026, Evl Li focused on enhancing the matrix-org/matrix.org repository by updating the Events Working Group documentation. They developed a new Meetups & Conferences section, written in Markdown, which clarifies the purpose, policies, and decision-making process for event listings. Drawing on skills in community management and event organization, Evl Li structured the documentation to improve onboarding for new contributors and increase transparency around governance of community events. The work addressed documentation quality and governance clarity rather than code or bug fixes, resulting in a targeted, well-scoped feature that supports both contributor guidance and community event coordination within the project.
