During January 2025, BHoMBot focused on enhancing licensing compliance within the BHoM/LadybugTools_Toolkit repository. They developed and integrated a comprehensive copyright notice into the SolarRadiationData.cs file, clarifying terms of use and reducing legal risk for downstream users. This work centered on compliance and governance, supporting open-source collaboration and partner integration. Utilizing C# and leveraging expertise in compliance and licensing, BHoMBot addressed the need for clear documentation rather than direct code changes or bug fixes. The update improved the project’s legal clarity and maintainability, reflecting a targeted approach to risk mitigation and open-source best practices within the toolkit’s codebase.
