Worked on reliability and testing enhancements for the Shopify/cli repository, focusing on improving the developer experience and reducing misconfigurations in the Shopify CLI. Developed features such as port validation and clearer error messages, and introduced an automated maintenance framework to support ongoing CLI stability. Enhanced the unit testing suite using Jest and TypeScript, expanding coverage to edge cases and refining JSON schema validation for more actionable error reporting. Addressed review feedback to further clarify schema error messages, ultimately reducing the risk of runtime errors. The work emphasized automation and robust diagnostics, laying a foundation for future reliability improvements in CLI releases.
