Worked on the Shopify/theme-tools repository to deliver targeted enhancements for Liquid templating, focusing on both argument parsing and pagination flexibility. Refactored the content_for tag’s argument handling using Ohm and TypeScript, introducing support for named arguments and improving grammar definitions to reduce parsing errors and support safer migrations. Additionally, expanded the maximum pagination size in Liquid templates from 50 to 250, updating configuration and test coverage to ensure reliability and maintainability. The work emphasized code quality, maintainability, and extensibility, enabling theme developers and merchants to build more flexible storefronts while maintaining robust configuration management and parser development practices.
