The work involved creating a new scraper and integrating it with Prometheus by adding a dedicated scrape job, enabling more granular monitoring and supporting improved cost optimization and capacity planning. The implementation required updates to the Helm chart version and careful configuration using YAML, demonstrating proficiency in DevOps practices, Kubernetes Helm chart management, and monitoring instrumentation. This feature provided end-to-end metric collection capabilities, allowing teams to better analyze workload efficiency without introducing major bug fixes during the period.
