Worked on the ReVanced/revanced-patches repository to address a UI filtering issue affecting YouTube community posts. Focused on Android development and patch development using Java, the work involved expanding layout component filters to ensure new post types—such as videos, text, and polls—were properly hidden from the user interface. This fix resolved a regression where these formats were previously visible due to missing root-level filters, thereby maintaining the reliability and consistency of the patch suite. The approach emphasized reverse engineering techniques to preserve compatibility and stability, ensuring that the patch continued to deliver a seamless user experience across updates.
