In December 2025, Lava contributed to the ReVanced/revanced-patches repository by developing a Patch Compatibility feature focused on maintaining patch viability for Spotify amid frequent version changes. Using Kotlin and Android development skills, Lava updated fingerprint strings to ensure patches remained compatible with the latest Spotify releases. This technical approach allowed patches to apply reliably across new versions, reducing user breakages and minimizing support overhead. The work demonstrated a strong grasp of fingerprint-based patching and version compatibility management, with careful attention to changelog documentation and commit hygiene. Lava’s contribution improved patch resilience and helped sustain a smooth user experience for ReVanced.
