Worked on the ReVanced/revanced-patches repository to deliver a Patch Compatibility feature that maintains patch viability as Spotify releases new versions. Addressed the challenge of frequent Spotify updates by updating fingerprint strings, ensuring that patches continue to apply reliably across changing app versions. This approach reduced patch failure rates and minimized user disruptions, streamlining support and maintaining a consistent user experience. The work involved Android development and mobile development skills, with a focus on Kotlin for implementation. Emphasized rigorous commit hygiene and thorough documentation of compatibility changes, contributing to the ongoing resilience and maintainability of patching workflows for Spotify.
