During the month, contributed to the QSD-Group/QSDsan repository by developing a new robustness feature for molar weight handling in the compilation process. The work introduced an optional ignore_inaccurate_molar_weight parameter to the compile, _compile, and default_compile methods, allowing the system to bypass molar weight checks when data quality is uncertain or irrelevant. This change required careful code refactoring and targeted updates to the test suite to ensure compatibility and maintain coverage. Using Python and leveraging skills in software development and testing, the update reduced compilation failures, enabling faster model iteration and more reliable builds in data-variable environments.
